Scott M. Dinehart, M.D.
Scott Dinehart, M.D. a fellowship trained MOHS surgeon, specializes in the treatment of skin cancer.
Dr. Dinehart is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Baylor University and received his medical degree with highest honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed a dermatology residency at Galveston and was an overseas observer at St. John's Hospital for Diseases of the Skin in London, England. He then accepted a Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Dinehart began treating skin cancer patients in Arkansas at the Arkansas Cancer Research Center. Since coming to Arkansas, Dr. Dinehart has performed over 20,000 Mohs surgery procedures. Dr. Dinehart is a former president of the Association of Academic Dermatologic Surgeons and the Arkansas Dermatological Society. He has served on the board of directors of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and the Association of Academic Dermatologic Surgeons.
In addition, Dr. Dinehart is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the honorary medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Dinehart is the author of over 90 peer-reviewed articles, 12 book chapters and a manual on basic skin surgery. He has been quoted by numerous magazines and newspapers, including Redbook, Health, Fitness, Family Circle and The Washington Post.
Matthew T. Reynolds, PA-C
Matthew T. Reynolds, PA-C, is a board-certified dermatology physician assistant and native of Northwest Arkansas. Matthew received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Upon graduation, he moved back to Arkansas and earned a master's degree performing research with the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). During his studies, he co-authored two papers and has co-authored a book chapter on melanoma skin cancer.
Matt was accepted into the first class of students at the UAMS Physician Assistant program where he served as Class Secretary and established the New Student Committee for incoming students to the PA program. He developed a personal interest in dermatology from his research at UAMS, which was furthered by his PA school clinical rotations throughout the state of Arkansas. After completing his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies he joined Arkansas Dermatology.
PA Reynolds serves as a guest lecturer to the UAMS Physician Assistant Program. Matt has published several papers and co-authored a book chapter on squamous cell skin cancer since working with Arkansas Dermatology. He enjoys treating a wide variety of dermatologic conditions from psoriasis and acne to atopic dermatitis and skin cancer.
He also greatly enjoys reading, hiking Pinnacle Mountain, cycling at Two Rivers Park, and exploring the many state parks in Arkansas.
